Simply Grants

During this course you will find where to look for grants, the parts of grants and how to determine if your project/program is a “good match” for a particular funder. Maybe you want to write grants professionally, help your church or local charity. Whatever your reason, you will come away from this course with a better understanding of the process of writing grants and how they’re funded.

Instructor-Tammy Pope

In 1991 Tammy Pope got out of the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. At that time she started working in the nonprofit sector and has been working with nonprofits since in many capacities. She started out with the local United Way as the administrative assistant. She graduated from the Duke Non-Profit Management course and became the Executive Director of a local nonprofit that works with the blind and visually impaired.  Tammy Pope now runs Virtual Grant Writer (www.virtualgrantwriter.com).  She was one of the original individual coaching students of JTC.
