What is unique is the program is based on YOUR needs!  Upon acceptance, you will fill in a questionnaire, and then each lesson is tailored to your questions.  This is LIVE, INDIVIDUALIZED group coaching to help you go to the next level!

What's involved in the coaching program?
Direct Coaching Calls-These calls are the teaching moments of the program. They are structured calls led by the head coach on a specific topic, with homework based on what was learned in the call. Every homework assignment focuses on setting up your business.

Trade Hours-To make the program affordable, after the initial deposit, coaches are paid via trade hours performed by you. This allows you experience with “real” virtual assistance projects. It allows for you to learn hands-on about building a relationship with a client and learn how to handle any issues that may arise with the guidance and support of your coach.

Hands On Meetings and Activities-Many of our meetings will have you actively involved.  We utilize GoToMeeting to bring across visual presentations. Following our meetings, you will be assigned activities to reinforce the meetings and help you continue to grow to success.

Why coaching?
Would you go up to the starting line of a marathon without any preparation, without any planning, and wearing the wrong clothing? Of course not! To be successful in a marathon, you have to train, wear the right running clothes and shoes and plan ahead for how it will affect your life. Preparation should also be taken when setting up your business.

A good coach not only helps you set up your business, but will also be there for you once everything is set up to make sure you stay on track. S/he will be there to help you when you get discouraged and listen to all of your triumphs. A good coach will also turn into a good friend, a good counselor, a mentor and more. How much does the program cost?

• $197 commitment fee.  AND 8 hours of trade work for every Session (4 weeks) you are involved in the program.  (The current program consists of 2 Sessions, which students must commit to completing.)

• $357 and 4 hours of trade time total.
  
  OR
   

• Two payments of $200 and 4 hours of trade time total. (First payment due at time of registration)

How do I qualify for this program?
All you have to do is be able to answer yes to all of the below, go through an interview with a JERPAT VA Coach and be approved.

• I have one or more clients with my virtual assistance practice.

• I have been in business six months or more.

• Be willing to openly listen to what is being taught, accept feedback, be willing to change necessary habits, and have a drive to succeed.

• Be able to work independently, have customer service skills, be organized and able to meet deadlines.

• Have the support of your immediate family and/or the people living with you.

• Be able to commit to the times established for coaching and to the program as a whole.

Is there a group available to start with now?

We are now registering for the Advanced “Failure is NOT an Option” group scheduled to start September 10, 2008 at 10 am MST/12 pm EST.  Only 6-8 students will be allowed in the group so be sure to get signed up now.

Founding Coach and Program Director-Patty Benton, BA, Certified Life Coach

Patty first decided to go into coaching and establish a program that was affordable to all VAs who desired a coach to help establish their practice.  She learned early on that the majority of coaching programs were not affordable to the VA on a tight budget.  All of Patty's knowledge has come from her prior work experience and the trial and error of starting her business.  Her passion is to help other's who have the desire to own their own business, but do not know how to go about getting started.
